Dr. Joanne Block Rief has practiced dentistry since 1986.
She is a graduate of the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery,University of Maryland. She also received her B.S.
in Dental Hygiene from the University of Rhode Island. Dr. Block Rief is currently continuing her cosmetic and neuromuscular dental education at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
She is also certified in Invisalign which is virtually invisible aligners that move teeth. Her restorative
practice provides services which include filling replacement with non-metal alternatives,
to a full range of cosmetic treatment. The cosmetic procedures include: cosmetic recontouring, tooth whitening, laser dentistry, cosmetic bonding, porcelain veneers, implant dentistry and non-metal crowns and bridges. Dr. Block Rief can also converse with patients who speak Spanish.
Dr. Block Rief has been recognized by her peers as a fellow of The Pierre Fauchard Academy. She is also a member of the ADA, MSDA, Baltimore County Dental Society, and the Owings Mills Dental Study Club.
Dr. Block Rief enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, reading novels, walking and antiquing.
