For example, our office now uses digital radiography. This new technology allows us to diagnose in more depth with the use of much less radiation. We also use a diode laser to cosmetically contour gums and treat mouth ulcers and cold sores. Our office also uses "The Wand." This new computer technology allows Dr. Rief to slowly deliver a painless injection without the numb feeling. VELscope is routinely used in our office to help detect precancerous and cancerous lesions that might not be visable to the naked eye. To eliminate bacteria from the dental waterlines in our office, a system called O-So Pure has been installed.

We are committed to providing each patient with an initial appointment during which an expression of patient concerns and cosmetic desires will be addressed. We respect our patients' time. We do not double book. Unless an unexpected dental emergency arises, we make sure that patients are seen at their scheduled appointment time. We want each patient to feel comfortable with ample appointment time to address his or her dental concerns. Please allow adequate travel time to locate our office.

Once you have explained your dental and cosmetic concerns and a thorough dental examination and necessary radiographs have been completed, a treatment plan may be developed. Written explanations of most procedures and problems are available and will be offered to you. Advantages and disadvantages of treatment, risks of treatment, options and costs of treatment will be presented to you. Any questions you will have will be answered before treatment begins. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our practice. We hope to see you soon!
